Work at Home in Educational Sales

Now I will be the first to admit I am not very good at sales jobs. And telemarketing is not my number one choice of a work at home career. However, with that being said, this sales position has some benefits that make it more appealing as a possible work at home opportunity.

First, this job does not require cold calling--or making calls to potential clients. You receive calls from customers who are interested in the educational program that is offered.

Secondly, it is a work from home job, with various shifts available. And if earning an income from home, or supplementing your income with work you can do at home, is something you really need/want...this is something that could fit that bill.

And third, training is provided-- which is a good thing when it comes to sales.

The drawback is that it is a commission -based job, so to get paid, you do need to complete sales. But if you believe you are or could be successful with sales, then why not check this out?

The company is the Institute of Reading Development. Basically you will be responsible to convert qualified leads into paying customers and to represent the Institute and their community partners with the highest degree of professionalism. You will talk to between 25 and 40 customers each day and should expect to enroll approximately 40-50% of them.

According to their website, "Salespeople earn a percentage of the program tuition, and can expect to make $500 - $1,000 per week."

Check out the Institute of Reading Development if you would like to learn more about their work at home opportunity.
