OnPoint@Home is a work at home agency, and they are currently looking for At Home Advocacy Agents to join their team.

Advocacy Agents make outbound phone calls to recruit and educate others on a variety of issues, from health care to energy issues. There are no sales or fund raising calls made, however.

At Home Agents should have strong communication skills, a professional and courteous phone manner, and be able to simplify complex issues so that they are easily understood. Agents also need to be competent writers who can accurately write information provided by advocates.

Advocacy Agents can set their own hours between 9AM and 9Pm, Monday thru Fridays, with a minimum of 25 hours per week.

There are technical requirements for your home office that will be needed to work for OnPoint, and these are listed on their website. Pay is hourly, and you will be an Independent Contractor.

I am back. So get ready for new posts, updates, work at home opps., and whatever. I took sort of a "sabbatical" from blogging due to some health issues with one of my sons, but all is better now and I am here...ready to jump back in to the blogosphere.

Alpine Access Hiring Bilingual Home Based Agents

Alpine Access is hiring bilingual home based customer service agents in English and Spanish. The work at home customer service representatives will answer inbound calls from Spanish speaking clients.

Though pay rates are established depending on factors such as experience, Alpine Access notes that the average pay is $9.00 per hour for home based customer service agents. You are paid by the hour, not per call. Agents are paid every two weeks, usually through direct deposit.

A real estate escrow company is looking for bloggers to write interesting posts based on ideas given by the escrow agent. Bloggers will need to write 1-2 posts each week of about 500-700 words. Pay per post will be given, but the amount was not given.

Bloggers will need to do the appropriate research to gain a background understanding of the topic at hand.

You will have access to a licensed escrow officer to interview for the post.

You will need to meet weekly deadlines.

Writers should be familiar with the escrow process. Ideally, you should be a current or former escrow officer or a real estate agent.

You in turn may be the one called. This could be a way to earn some extra money using your computer knowledge without having to incur advertising costs.

Business Idea / Franchise Possibility?

In my daily cruising around the Internet, I came across "Grins To Go," a mobile photography business that also offers franchise opportunities. The Franchise King blog has picked this company as the number one franchise for May 2009.

The idea is simple -- photographers go to you--to your events, parties, home, sporting events, etc... And we love our pictures. Everyone does. After our kids and pets, pictures are right up there on the list when trying to grab things to take with you if there is a fire, right?

So I thought it was worth passing on this business franchise here....if for no other reason than to perhaps give inspiration/motivation to enthusiastic picture takers who make photography a passionate hobby. Maybe think about turning the hobby into a business. Start your own mobile photography business. Maybe make it more specialized at first to keep things simple. Like mobile pet photography. Or focus on children's birthday parties.

And if you are in the market for a franchise, you might really want to look into this one as well.

Going garage sale-ing this weekend? If so, look for scarves. Yep. Scarves. Why you ask? Because of an article I read a little while ago about making money with vintage scarves. And if you find just the right scarf at a garage sale, estate sale, someone's attic..... wherever.... and spend a few dollars, what a return that would be!

Work at Home as an Interpreter

Language Line Services offers work from home positions as language interpreters. I have not worked for them personally, but I did check out their website. They offer quite a long list of languages for which they have interpretation services for, but the only one I could possibly qualify for is Spanish (more like my hubby actually.) And when I clicked on that work at home opportunity, it did have a message saying that while they are still accepting applications for this opportunity, they have received a "Large Response" and therefore there will most likely be a long delay before you may get a reply. So-- with that said, it did seem like it could be a potentially good work at home job at some point, and it certainly could not hurt to get an application submitted.

Make Money From Home Using Your Computer
