I came across this opportunity on CL this morning, and thought it sounded fun!
A "small art-to-wear fabric purse designer needs experienced seamstress. Must have sewing machine and be able to work at home. Should be familiar with contract sewing techniques, zipper installation and experienced working with silk and rayon."
According to the listing, an experienced seamstress should be able to earn $15-$25 an hour depending on the type of purse being constructed.
I personally think this sewing purses from home opportunity sounds like fun, especially for those who love creating products but don't really want to run their own small business.
