I have to say I agree that online tutoring pays, I've done it for years, but my advice....don't go to Brainfuse. There are many other well paying online tutoring jobs. Again don't go to Brainfuse. Not as a student or a tutor. Brainfuse is only in it for the money not for the education. If you have tech issues don't count on them being there for you, not that day, not that week and a lot of times not that month. Mistakes are often made and you don't get paid what you work. Tutors are obligated to take on more than one student at time, even at the last minute. Parents of course cannot see this because it is only on the tutors screens. And don't bother trying to make a complaint even politely because they'll just let you go. Just like that. They will deactivate your account. Don't try to go up the chain of command either because it is all very well hidden who runs Brainfuse. Leaving a message on their voice mail is just a waste of time. No one ever calls back. Don't expect to get a live person either because this rarely happens, unless of course you make the mistake than they wont stop calling you or emailing you to find out why you would make such a mistake. If you work for them a few months or years, it doesn't matter. They will disrespect you just the same. Am I a bitter reviewer. Yes, of course I am. I gave them my all for years and the first time I make a complaint, fed up with all their mistakes and double booking of students, they let me go. If only the parents knew that their kids really don't get one-on-one attention.
