I have mentioned the website, Love To Know, several times on here. They are a fabulous content provider website, with freelance writers contributing articles on just about every subject under the sun!
Currently, Love To Know is looking for a freelance writer that is passionate about skiing, snow and other mountain sports.
Pay is per article (generally $20 for a 650+ word article) and work is part-time, but they are asking writers to commit to creating 20 articles per month.
