LA Weekly is seeking a full-time blogger to write about the arts in Los Angeles. Applicants need to have strong passion and knowledge of performing arts, music, film, comedy, visual arts and books in the Los Angeles area.
They are looking for someone who can post clean, energetic copy multiple times per day. Other duties will include assigning, editing and posting the work of paid freelancers. Hours will vary and some weekend work is expected. This is a new position requiring a team player who will work closely with the Weekly's web editor to build readership. Strong social media and SEO knowledge required.
