Eco Traveller is looking for a few experienced bloggers to contribute regular content to the website. You will be paid $10 per post, but this amount is expected to increase as the website grows. Payments will be made monthly via Paypal.
Articles will generally be no more than 500 words, but you may be asked on occasion to write longer posts – these will be paid at a higher rate.
Bloggers should be passionate about travel, or be an experienced traveler. Other desired qualities include:
Knowledge of and/or interest in ecotourism and environmental issues
Excellent writing skills with a good command of the English language
Knowing the difference between there and their; its and it’s, and when to use them
Being able to write informative, well-researched and engaging content
Being able to source your own stories and images, as well as write up given articles
Being proficient in WordPress with knowledge of basic html
Being involved in social media and able to promote your own stories on various networking sites
