WAH: Teletech Hiring 7,500 Customer Service Agents

Teletech is hiring approximately 7,500 seasonal, part-time TeleTech@Home associates by October 2012 in order to be ready for the upcoming holiday season!

These openings are for seasonal, work from home part-time customer experience associates, technical service support and bilingual agents.


About the Job:

Teletech provides all new employees with free basic training and a certification program to prepare you for the on-the-job requirements of your assigned client project. All training is mandatory and is conducted online and over the phone.

You will need to have a strong working knowledge of computers and be comfortable using both the Internet and e-mail.

Minimum technical requirements to become a TeleTech@Home associate

Equipment you will need at home for this job:

A personal computer (PC) with a minimum 1GHz processor speed and minimum 512 MB of RAM (higher is recommended), along with a monitor that is 17 inches or larger and can support a minimum resolution of 1024 X 768.

High-speed Internet service (Cable or DSL only; no wireless, satellite or dial-up services) with a minimum bandwidth speed of 512 kb per second.

An analog landline telephone or digital phone service that does not connect to the Internet in any way. The network must be managed/owned by the service provider, and the phone must provide the quality of service required for TeleTech@Home. You must also ensure the phone is not used by others while you are working. Mobile, cellular or cordless phone services are not allowed.

A home office where you can work for 4-6 consecutive hours each day without interruption by others or background noises, including family members, appliances, traffic, pets, TV or music.

About Getting Paid:

Teletech pays bi-weekly either through direct deposit or by debit card. Since you will be a part time employee of the company, all necessary taxes will be deducted from your bi-weekly paycheck.

You are paid for your time in training, time spent on customer calls, and time spent waiting for the next customer call. Specific payment amounts are provided in the job offer or at contract signing.

Part-time employees are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Depending on your availability and the client’s needs, specific work schedules can range from 20-30 hours per week.
