MyCanvas is an online photo book publishing business. MyCanvas gives customers (photographers, scrapbookers, family historians, vacationers, etc) a place to showcase their photography in the form of a hardbound, coffee table style book. MyCanvas has been showing a lot of growth and now needs roughly 5 additional book designs/month.
They are looking for the kind of designer that loves print, book design, and total creative freedom, and wants the opportunity to create cool book designs.
While the payrate i snot speified in their listing, they do say that "The pay is great, and the work is steady."
Each design consists of a 20 page InDesign file. you will be designing a coffee table style photo book based around specific themes to choose from in a list that will be posted to the designers chosen. Each theme consists of about 10 different backgrounds, and as many or few embellishments that make for a clean, classy, non-gaudy design.
