Freelance Writers Wanted For New Magazine

Commuters' Digest is a new magazine that will be launching in May. And they need Freelance Writers!

The magazine's goal is to provide provocative, thoughtful content for the diverse commuter community. The magazine will be distributed at first on commuter buses in Northern New Jersey, and will eventually expand to include buses and trains throughout the Tri-State Area.

Commuters' Digest will be publishing articles on many different topics that will grab people's attention, such as pieces on health, fitness, travel, politics, relationships, profiles, music, subcultures, the bizarre, celebrities, and home and garden. General story length will be between 500 and 600 words.

Commuters' Digest will feature pieces in Spanish and English, so bilingual writers are welcome and encouraged. They do ask, however, that all submitted proposals and story pitches be in English. They will respond to all pitches within three to six weeks.

Pay will be $50 for features, sliding scale for recipes, interviews work-out tips, sidebars or lists.
