Gather.com is always looking for moms and others who would like to be contributing writers on their site. Currently, Gather has a need for freelance writers who can share their own smart and fresh perspective on the facts of current health and beauty news stories, as well as give authoritative and credible tips and advice. Writers will be able to choose from a variety of health and beauty-related topics and will receive training on topic selection and how to write for maximum exposure of their content through search engines, blogs, and social networks. They are looking for writers who are in the know and savvy about health and beauty topics.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
• Skin & beauty
• Hair care
• Personal health
As a writer for Gather.com, you will need to complete an online training program, and feel comfortable committing to 10-20 original articles per month of 150-500 words in length.
There are different payment structures for different content types:
Content-specific Payment Structure:
News content: focuses on recently trending newsworthy events
• Per article: $2.50-$10 for any article posted on Gather that receives a minimum of 250 unique page views
• Monthly Bonus: $25-$100 based on the popularity of their writing throughout the month
Evergreen content: insight, information and tips on health and beauty topics that rarely become outdated.
• $10 up front, and then up to an additional $10 per article based on unique page views
