If you have thought about working from home as an interpreter, Pacific Interpreters is currently seeking applicants fluent in English and another language.
These are home-based independent contractor positions in which you will set your own schedule.
Requirements Include:
Oral and written proficiency in English and the target language(s).
At least one year of experience interpreting within the medical industry.
Strict adherence to Interpreters’ Interpreter Code of Ethics, Standards of Behavior, and Confidentiality Pledge.
All candidates must pass a criminal background check prior to being contracted with Pacific Interpreters.
Once your application has been submitted online, you will be contacted by Pacific Interpreters within five business days. You may be asked to complete an interview and language test covering medical terminology, the interpreter Code of Ethics, and professional interpreter standards.
There is also a 60 minute orientation that will be completed by phone.
