OptumHealth is accepting applications for a home-based Health Coach. This is a telecommute position that requires a dedicated home office. Please note: Applicants must live in the San Antonio area.
You will be providing support to members via the phone, online and in person while helping them reach their health and wellness goals.
Job Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree required; preferably in nursing, health education, nutrition, exercise physiology or closely related field.
- Certification in a nationally recognized coaching program, or must complete certification by the end of the first year of employment.
- Minimum two years of experience required in direct education and/or coaching with individuals for disease prevention, health promotion and behavior change.
- Experience in PC-based word processing and database documentation (Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook.)
