In 2004, William Hildebolt and his wife, Daphne Kwon, had the idea to launch a Web site where consumers could submit videos of product reviews. The first review, of a portable DVD player, was uploaded on Sept. 9, 2005, on expotv.com.

By the end of 2005, the site was up to 2,500 reviews. By the end of 2007, expotv.com had 150,000 reviews. Today there are more than 300,000 "Videopinions." Categories range from pets to clothing to books. Check out www.expotv.com and maybe get inspired to do some brainstorming for home business ideas you can start in the new year!!

While there are some valid points made, I still think if a person has a strong enough desire, passion and well thought out business plan, why not give your business idea a try. Especially if you can do so while still maintaining your current form of income.
