Have you heard of "Milk Money?" It's an online business directory (www.ourmilkmoney.com) that lists hundreds of business owners across the country who are all self-employed parents.
The "Milk Money" site was started by two self-employed mommies, Ally Loprete and Kelly Shand, and was just recently launched at the end of March after months of planning by Loprete and Shand.
The directory currently has around 1,500 listings and represents nearly 80 industries, ranging from party planning services to clothing stores. Businesses from all over America and even Canada are posted.
There is a listing fee of $25.00, which helps fund the website.
I checked out the Milk Money website, and found a couple of familiar names listed on there...such as Work it Mom!. It is not overly packed with business listings as it is a new service, so now might be the time to get listed on there.
Networking and advertising are two things that Home Based businesses can never have too much of, right?
