WAHM Opportunity: Quicktate

Who is Quicktate? Basically a transcription service that transcribes voicemail messages, memos, letters and other documents. The voicemail message files average 1-2 minutes in length, while the other recordings are typically longer. If you enjoy typing, and are good at it, maybe this is a wahm job worth checking out.

Their website states you can select your own hours that you want to work. You can work as few, or as many hours as you want. They suggest you keep Quicktate open in the background, and when there is a job to be typed, it will just start playing on your speakers. Just type the message, proof your work and click submit. Quicktate files frequently arrive in spikes according to the site description.

Quicktate typists are paid based on the number of words they type, at the rate of 1/4 (one-fourth) US cent per word. So, if you typed 50 words per minute (assuming there were enough jobs to keep you typing for the entire hour), then you would probably earn about $5.00-$7.00 per hour.

There is a typing test, more information and requirements you can read about on the Quicktate website.

Good Luck!
