Though online tutors mainly will be tutoring students of varying ages and abilities, you may also train and mentor new tutors from time to time.

Tutors must successfully complete a real-time, online training program that focuses on both technological skill and online instructional practices. According to the website, it is paid training.

Tutors work a fixed weekly schedule that is set at the beginning of each academic term. Daily shifts typically range from 2 - 4 hours in length. There may also be additional reserve or substitute hours available on a weekly basis.

Tutors are paid on the 15th and 30th of the month, usually by direct deposit. Tutors are paid an hourly wage, according to the site.

Work From Home Spanish Tutors Needed


Smartthinking.com is looking for Spanish Tutors to work from home.

Tutors will provide real-time, online tutoring and learning services to high schools and colleges.

Responsibilities include tutoring and assisting in the training and mentoring of new tutors. Candidates can work from anywhere they have computer and Internet access. To qualify, candidates should have at least an undergraduate degree, teaching certificate and/or advanced degree in Spanish language. Candidates can choose to work 9 to 20 hours per week.
