HubPages' Apprenticeship Program is a rigorous 6-month training program that will pay you to learn how to write online!

Who Can Apply For This Program?

Talented bloggers with topical expertise and an impressive publishing history (an active blog, for example) can apply. They will be looking for a consistent stream of newly-published Hubs and/or an already existing blog, website, or collection of published online work. 

They will also be reviewing your published work for good grammar and punctuation.

You must have a HubPages account and at least one published Hub. You must also have an approved Google AdSense account and be enrolled in the HubPages Earnings Program.

Lastly, to be considered, you must be willing to invest a significant amount of time and focus.

About the Program And Getting Paid

As a member of the HubPages Apprenticeship Program, you will receive personalized feedback, special lessons, and group support. 

Apprentices are expected to publish a minimum of 8 Hubs, and a maximum of 24 Hubs, each month. Those Hubs must be entirely original to HubPages, contain a minimum of 500 words, include at least one image, and only use images that are original or legally used and properly attributed.

Apprentices are also given an up-front bonus of just over $6 for each Hub published (this is independent of any ad revenue earned).

Hub Pages...Have You Checked Them Out Yet?

Many many posts ago, I wrote about HubPages. It's been quite a while, so I thought it might be time to do an update and put out a reminder of this avenue for earning some "at home" income.

HubPages is a site that offers you an easy way to set up your own web page on just about any topic that interests you. According their website, they now have over 60,000 "hubs" that users have created

The benefit from publishing your own "hub" on HubPages is that it is a highly-trafficked site, which means more readers for your hub. You earn money from advertising on your web page from Google, Ebay, and Amazon. The revenue from the ads is split 60/40 between you and HubPages.

According to their website, many Hub authors are earning hundreds (and, a few, thousands) of dollars a month on what they've already written.

So, if you haven't checked out HubPages before, you might want to take a look. There are no costs or fees, and the webpage or "hubs' are pretty easy to set up and get going.

HubPages: Another Opportunity To Earn Money Working From Home

Here is an online site that is looking for freelance writers to write "How To" articles, and other articles with information ranging from recipes to relationships. You own the content you write, which is nice because you can still submit it to other sites/publications. Basically, you will take 4 steps to start:

Create an account (Free, and takes a few minutes)
Pick a title for your "Hub" (article)
Add content (Text, Photos, Links, etc.)
Publish.

Your article is published as a rich web page you have written and designed. The webpage is referred to as a "Hub".
Writers are referred to as "Hubbers" ( don't ask me why??)

Each time you want to write another article, you'll create another hub. You will have the ability and tools to add pictures, videos, and links.

How will I make money?

You set up affiliate accounts with Google, Ebay, and Amazon. Hubpages earns revenues from the ads these affiliates place ( for Ebay and Amazon, you pick the products to highlight on your "Hub"), and Hubpages splits the revenues with you.
