Work at Home TGIF Drink Recipe

This week's TGIF drink recipe comes from momlogic.com, and it sounds perfect for summer evenings! Enjoy while you check out this weekend home business brainstorming idea.

Aqua Pearl

Ingredients
3/4 cup soursop (guanabana) juice* or pineapple juice
6 tablespoons gin
4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
4 teaspoons simple syrup
1 1/2 teaspoons Blue CuraƧao liqueur
4 dashes of Angostura Bitters ice cubes
2 unsprayed purple orchids (optional)

Mix the first six ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice. Cover and shake well. Strain into two daiquiri or martini glasses. Garnish each with an orchid--if desired--and breathe in the Caribbean.

*Soursop (guanabana) juice is similar to pineapple juice and is available at Latin markets nationwide.

Work at Home TGIF Drink Recipe: California Lemonade

It is hot here today. The cool days we were enjoying have seemed to disappear overnight. Sigh....and so I thought this TGIF drink recipe, which I found at the Diva Mogul's place ( great site, btw!) sounded perfect for the summer heat!

California Hard Lemonade

You'll need:

Juice from 1 large lemon
Juice from 1 large lime
1 tsp superfine sugar
2 oz Scotch, (I just love TGIF!!)
¼ tsp grenadine
Cold club soda
Wedge of lemon
Ice, lots of it!!

To Make:

Shake lemon juice, lime juice, sugar, Scotch, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a chilled Collins glass filled with ice. Add soda to fill, stir, and plop that lemon wedge on the rim.

Sit back, close the laptop, breathe deep....and say hello to the weekend!
