Work at Home: Paid Blogging Jobs With New Honeymoon Website



A new up and coming website focused on honeymoons and related topics is seeking bloggers that can be regular contributors responsible for specific columns.

Pay will be $20 per post. Posts should be between 300-500 words, and include pictures and relevant links. If you have a good idea for a longer post, that can be discussed and will pay more.

Additional bonuses will be paid if a post reaches a large number of tweets, comments and/or Facebook likes.

Requirements:

1. Experience in the travel, technology, wedding or celebrity niche.
2. Ability to promote your posts via your own social network on Twitter and/or Facebook & actively interact with readers and other travel bloggers.
3. Will publish at least two times per week.
4. Can publish directly via Wordpress to our site (i.e., edit your own articles).
5. Willing to have a public profile, with author byline, picture and author bio.
6. Working knowledge of SEO copywriting.
7. A unique, fun voice and vibrant writing style.

The columns they are seeking bloggers for include:


  • Travel Tech
  • After the Wedding... (things to do once the wedding is over; a lifestyle-type column about being newlyweds)
  • Budget Travel Tips
  • Ask Jane (or whatever your name is - this will ask and answer questions, a la Dear Judy)
  • Celebrity Weddings / Honeymoons 

They are also open to suggestions for other columns.

Lionbridge Hiring For Internet Assessors Program



Lionbridge is recruiting applicants living in the United States for their Online Internet Assessors program, as well as some other home-based, telecommute positions.

Home -Based Assessors, or Raters,  evaluate results of a web search for appropriateness to search query input. Participants will be required to provide their opinion of the result displayed based on a set of guidelines we provide. Hours of work are flexible. The recommended hours of work are 10-20 hours per week. You do need to successfully pass a two-part exam consisting of two sections: Section 1 has 24 theory questions and Section 2 consists of 150 practical questions. Study materials are provided.

All applicants need to be familiar with browsing the internet, be able to read and write fluent English, and have high-speed access to internet.

Other requirements include~

Proof of English competency in some locales will be requested, e.g. English Certificate
For cultural and historical awareness purposes, you must be resident in the country for 5 consecutive years
You should be familiar with using both Internet browsers and content, and have access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection
You need to be motivated to apply your knowledge in a way that improves the browsing experience on the Web
You must be a mature person capable of managing your time to spend 10-20 hours per week in rating various online services and software
